As Prime Consultant for a Various/Various contract with the Illinois Department of Transportation District 1, CEC oversaw the Lincolnwood project which included field and office resources to prepare a statutory plat of highways, including legal descriptions, title commitment review, preparation of Title Commitment Parcel Summary Sheets and field staking in accordance with the current Land Acquisition Policies and Procedures Manual.
The project was at the intersection of Cicero Avenue and Touhy Avenue at I-94 and included 18 Temporary Easements and 6 Fee Simple ROW conveyances. The scope of work required the following items:

- A survey of the existing ROW of Cicero Avenue between Station 126+00.00 to Station 143+00.00. A survey of the existing ROW of Touhy Avenue between Station 225+00.00 to Station 231+00.00. We surveyed the ROW for all the side streets established approximately 100’ from centerline of Cicero.
- A Plat of Highways and 24 legal descriptions.
- CADD file of the existing and proposed ROW in Open Roads Designer format.
- Title Commitment review sheets for the Parcels.
- Map Check reports with the bearings, distances and areas of the Total Holdings and the proposed ROW and Easement Parcels.
CEC was responsible for the QA/QC plan and review of all work. Our subconsultant for this work was American Surveying & Engineering.
