Mentoring and the DMML (Do Manage Market Lead) model battle against glass ceilings. Senior leadership continues to advance and the number of employees in senior leadership continues to increase because mentoring, both formally and informally, is part of our culture – dynamically promoting the thriving of employees regardless of position. Since joining CEC in 2000 as a staff-level employee, I have benefited from being mentored and by mentoring and have seen the company expand while simultaneously sharpening its focus on mentoring. Empowering initiative-taking employees through the DMML model is a hallmark of CEC’s mentoring program.
