CEC Houston is pleased to welcome Mohammed Qumruzzaman, P.E., to the team as a Principal in our Civil Engineering practice.
In his 30-year career, Mohammed has played key roles in a variety of structural, civil, and transportation engineering projects. He has successfully taken on a diverse range of responsibilities, including business development, operations, project administration, and management. Mohammed has designed numerous bridges, underground structures, and large retaining walls throughout his career. He has also been involved in bridge replacement and rehabilitation, widening, reconstruction, and more.
In his previous role as Director of Engineering, Mohammed oversaw all engineering projects and personnel, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards while executing company strategies.
Mohammed is a licensed professional engineer in Texas and Ohio and a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers. He has a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology and a master’s degree in civil and environmental engineering from South Dakota State University.
