We are pleased to announce several operational leadership changes that became effective on April 1, 2025, following a smooth transition period.

Kevin Kamp, P.E., was recently promoted to Regional Vice President of Operations (RVP) and will support our Chicago, Indianapolis, Oklahoma City, and St. Louis operations. Kevin has been with CEC for more than 17 years. He currently serves on our Board of Directors and formerly led the St. Louis office as Operations Lead. Katie Astroth, P.W.S., has now taken over as the St. Louis Operations Lead, also effective April 1. Click here to read more.
Lauren Parker, P.E., now supports our entire Ohio and West Virginia operations, adding Cincinnati and Toledo to the offices she supports, which also includes Bridgeport, Charleston, Cleveland, Columbus, and Martinsburg. Lauren has been with CEC for more than 21 years. She currently serves on our Board of Directors.

Mike Sheleheda, P.E., adds Athens to the offices he currently supports. With this change, Mike supports Athens, Boston, Monroeville, and Philadelphia as RVP. Mike has spent his entire 25-year career at CEC, where he also serves as our Chief Technical Officer and sits on our Board of Directors.
These changes were sparked by John DiNunzio’s transition to a part-time role. John has been a vital part of CEC for more than 22 years. Throughout his career, John has contributed significantly to our growth, having served as the Solid Waste Market Group Lead, the Operations Lead for our Columbus office from 2009 through 2020, Regional Vice President of Operations for multiple offices, and as a member of our Board of Directors. We are grateful for John’s decades of dedication, the positive impact he has made, and his contributions across his many leadership roles. John will support Dennis Miller, RVP for CEC’s growing western offices in Arizona, California, and Texas, as Dennis simultaneously continues leading ongoing border fence projects.
In addition to the above, our other RVPs include Tom Covrett (Charlotte, Greenville, Knoxville, Nashville, Sevierville) and Zach Coy (Pittsburgh).
