Michael Melan
Mr. Melan has a depth of experience in the solid waste industry spanning over 40 years. Coming from the owner's side he spent over 30 years with WM in WI and IL as a site engineer focused on environmental permit compliance, capital construction projects of all sorts in the waste industry (liner, cap, leachate, gas), long term planning and assembling capital budgets.
He also served as Operations District Manager at 3 different sites (IL and IN) when at WM managing staff and vendors and managing spending and the operations budget P&L
He served as Environmental Lead at Republic Services second largest landfill located in Indiana. He led a team that managed compliance and capital construction projects similar to those at WM and developed long term plans and budgets. This included assisting Operations regularly to manage projects and budgets
Richard Donnell
Richard Donnell has more than 16 years of experience in the solid waste industry specializing in O&M data coordination. He has supported operations for landfills in New England, the Midwest and Texas. He is highly skilled in the use of Zerion Form Builder and LFG specialized tools.
