Eric Scuoteguazza, MA, MBA, RPA, is a Principal and the Corporate Lead of the Cultural Resources Practice at Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. (CEC). He brings 30+ years’ experience leading cultural resources investigations under the National Historic Preservation Act. In his role, he works with CEC’s archaeologists, scientists, and architectural historians as they guide clients through myriad federal and state regulations. Mr. Scuoteguazza is proficient in consultation with tribal organizations, consensus building, developing procedural agreements, and conveying compliance needs to clients as well as to the public and local government sponsors. As such, he actively participates in establishing and implementing quality standards, with a focus on pragmatic, reasonable, and innovative solutions to balancing client needs with responsible resource management. Mr. Scuoteguazza earned his bachelor’s degree in anthropology/earth science from Gannon University, a master’s degree in anthropology from Ball State University, as well as an MBA from Point Park University.
